if we used a home equity loan to pay off our vehicle and cant keep home, can the vehicle be repossesed?

As far as I know, the lender would charge off your home equity loan to collections if you are unable to pay the dues. The collection agency will then collect the dues from you. It would be a better option to inform the lender about your financial situation. May be the lender would help you with a repayment plan so that you can pay off the dues.
