can my sister get a quick claim deed

my mom died in 2009, and left the family home. their are 2 other sibling. myself, and brother own our own home,and my sister, have moved into the family home. can she just go down, to get a quick claim deed,for she have kept the up keep, and have moved into the home. or do we need a lawyer, to get this done. we live in michigan,and just want this matter, to go as smooth as possible. thank you,need your help
