Posted on: 24th Oct, 2013 06:03 pm
Grandfather is deceased with the property and did not leave a will in Texas, has one living son and other son which has passed on did have a will and has left all of his part to his son.(grandson). The Grandson has been living in the house for over 34 years. and have been paying the taxes on the property each year. Have not received any thing from the deceased property owners living son for the property taxes, up keep are anything with the house. What needs to be done to get the taxes put into the Grandson's name. hopefully there will not be any issues with the other son. Please Help
Hi chloe,

Well, you should contact a tax adviser and an attorney and they will assist you in transferring the taxes into the grandson's name.

Hi chloe,

I agree with the opinion of Adonis. Apart from this, the grandson may have to get in touch with the tax department in this regard.

Thanks
