My stepmother quick claimed deeded my father's house to him before he died. She is cosigned on the mortgage. He left the house upon his death to myself and my sister. Who is responsible for the mortgage.
If you inherit a home and the deceased owed on the property then you are - if not she is however if she stops payments you will lose your home.....
I would work with her to make this right for everyone
