I was executor of my moms will when she passed away in 2009. She had some land that was given to her b y her mom who is also deceased.When i took possesion of the land. I mantained it and paid taxes on the land. At that time I could not do anything with it because there was quiet title on it when my father was alive. After a year and a half I was able to get the title in my name, My moms name is still on the title can I get a quick claim deed and have this land put in my name.
Yes, as the will executor, you can sign the quite claim deed behalf of your late mother & remove her name from the property.
