My father left my 3 siblings and I property (no house) on a quit claim deed. I would like to be left out of this and have no interest in the property and am not interested in cash compensation. My father has passed away. How do I go about giving my share away?
A quitclaim deed to your other 2 siblings will do it. Make sure it is notarized, delivered to the siblings, and filed with the county recorder's office.
