There is a house with one person's name on the deed. How should they go about adding an additional person to the deed? They would own it equally, and when the original owner died, his ownership would be transferred to the other owner (but not vice versa)

As per my knowledge if they sign a quitclaim then the property will become in both the persons name. Tell them to consult with a good real estate attorney to know the legal rights of the state they are from.
