Hi,
My dad and I held title as joint tenants on our home, but he passed away. Now, I want to add my wife's name to the property as joint tenants, will my property be reassessed? Also, what is the type of transfer is this called when I fill out the Preliminary Change of Ownership form? Or how do I fill out the PCOR?
Thanks.

Hi pab,
Yes, your property value will be reassessed once you add your wife to the property deed. You can contact an attorney and he will help you in filling out the Preliminary Change of Ownership form. He will also let you know what type of transfer it is.
Thanks
