I have been divorced for some years now.There was never any property settlement.I have just recently found out that my name was taken off of the deed and I did not sign anything.What can be done?
you need to find out how your name got taken off. typically you would have had to sign a deed that would be filed in the appropriate land records in order for you to come off the title. if that didn't take place, then you are right to question it.

Your name cannot be removed from the property deed without your signatures or permission. I guess your partner may have used some illegal means to remove your name. You should contact a real estate attorney and discuss your options with him. This may help you in resolving the issue.
