When you add someone to the title, is it mandatory to specify a percentage of ownership?

If two people are mentioned on the property deed, then both will share the property 50-50 by default. If there are more than 2 owners, then the concept of percentage will arise.

I agree with what Jerry has said. In case there are more than two owners of the property, you will have to specify the percentage of ownership.
