after time has exspired to probate the will,what steps are taken to collect monies owed from stocks etc. in the deceased name?

You can collect the money from the estate of the deceased person. As per my information, any beneficiary in control of a will who does not produce it for probate within three years loses their share of the estate. If there are other beneficiaries, then you can contact them for the monies.
