How can I sell off the property?

Posted on: 27th Sep, 2013 12:23 am
My parents died when we were young and they left the house to me and my sibling. We inherited the property which was left to both of us. However, I don't want the house. I just want my share of money from it. My sibling is not ready to sell off the property. How can I sell off the property?
Hi Gabb,

You can negotiate with your sibling and convince him/her to sell off the property. Or else, you can file a partition lawsuit and the court may order the sale of the property.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hi Gabb,

Jerry is right in saying so. A partition lawsuit will be of great help. Contact an attorney and he will further help you in this regard.

Thanks
