My father and his mother did a mortgage loan, my father died in 1885 with out a will over 20yrs and my g-mother willed me the house when she died in 2005 with a will. I have 2 borther's who are died do they kids have int. in the house?
Hi Jmapp,

Your father & his mother owned the house, after your father's death, who got ownership of his share of the house as he did not make a will?

If your grandmother received full ownership of the house after your father's death then you became the owner of the house as per her will. Your brother had no rights over the house so his kids will not be getting any share out of the house.

1885 or 1985?

If your brother did not have any interest in the house then his kids will not have rights on the house.
