My partner wants to sign his half interest of a peice of proerty to two other people can he legal giving them 25 percent interest he says he can do this with a quit claim what are the proper steps so the people he wants to sign his half two is done so legaly and how do we determine which half belongs too him

It would be mentioned in the property deed as to which half belongs to your partner. Your partner can always sign a quitclaim deed and transfer his share of the property to two other people giving 25% interest to each one of them. Once the property deed is signed, your partner needs to notarize and record the deed to make it legal.
