Hello,
My husband added my name on one of his houses as a quitclaim deed after we married. then he sold that house in a year later. he took all the money to paid a house's mortgage which we are living in now (this one did not add my name on). we are getting divorce, I 'd like to know if i still can ask the half of the money from the sold house previously?

Hi jenny,
You can ask for half of the money from the sold house as you were on the title of the house. But since the property has already been sold and the title changed to a different name, I doubt whether he'd agree to pay you now.
