how to get money from loss draft department after a claim

In the case of Chase Loss Draft I don't believe you can get the money back from them. I have been trying for 2 1/2 months and every time I call they have another reason for why they are not sending a check. I finally received a check but it had the wrong payee on the check. They added someone I have never heard of and has never done any work on my house.

Depends on your policy, Our house burnt in september total loss. Our insurance company has to pay for a new home up to the policy amount. They should give you a check to start out with then after you proove you have paid that amount on a house then if you need more and its still under the policy amount then you show them the differance and they should issue a check
