Hello Jerry,

Thanks a lot for your answer. Last time I asked if I still can ask half money back form the sold house that had my name on quit cliam deed. and my husband took all the money from sold house to paid other house's mortgage which does not has my name on.

After the house sold, the buyer paid us a check to us joint account, then my husband used that money to paid the morgage. i have all the evidence can prove this. do you think i can get the money belong to me?

Thank you!!
Hi jenny,

Once you quitclaim you give up your interest in the property. I think you should have asked for the money when you signd the quitclaim. I'm not very sure whether you can get the money now. But since you say you have the evidences, it's worth a try. I think you should consult an attorney who can guide you the best in this regard.
