power of attorney and quit claim deed

Posted on: 26th Aug, 2012 04:26 pm
can you use a power of attorney to record a quit claim deed after the person who granted the power of attorney dies.
Hi sandra,

The legal importance of the power of attorney will end with the death of the person. As far as I know, the power of attorney won't be valid once the concerned person is deceased. However, with the help of a power of attorney, you will be able to get a quitclaim deed signed when the concerned person is alive.

Hello Sandra,

Ask questions that help you to see the scope of the work and let the clients feel the complexity. Make a list of those kinds of questions now to get a sense of what they would be for your type of work.
