My husband of 10 yrs. Does NOT my name on the deed to OUR house. He wants to get a Quick Claim deed,I do not think this is going to make me an OWNER ,should he pass away!
i can't say i fully understand what you're driving at, but if he's going to add you to title with a quit claim deed, that will protect you in the event of his death.

I agree with George. If your husband signs a quitclaim deed and adds you to the property, you will be one of the owners of the property. After your husband's death, you will have to submit his death certificate at the county recorder's office and transfer the property in your name.
