My boyfriend and I own a house together that we have 2 mortgages on. We were looking to put everything into his name due to the fact that I may be moving out. Would a Quitclaim deed help us in this situation??

A quitclaim deed will definitely help you in transferring the property to your boyfriend. However, it won't help you in transferring your financial obligation. Your boyfriend will have to refinance the loan in his name in order to release you from the financial liability of paying the mortgage dues.

yes. you can quit claim deed to your friend but ensure that he is going for refinance
