Quit claim

if a quit claim deed is recorded to "record owners", and an individual had acerage given to him by an erroneous deed, does that individual become owner of that property if it falls within the description of the quit claim deed?
Hi BEmmert!

Welcome to forums!

If erroneously the person's name is mentioned on the property deed, then he/she will be considered as the owner of the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Welcome BEmmert,

As far as I know, if a person's name is mentioned on the property deed, then he/she will be the owner of the property. Apart from that, no one can forcefully remove that person's name from the property deed.
