Real Estate Market Directions and Investing Made Simple

Posted on: 24th Jun, 2008 11:16 pm
Hi folks. I was hoping to get other professionals' opinions on the direction of the real estate market nationally and in their specific area. I don't see a lot of threads regarding this and most of the information given to the general public comes from the media and usually is misinformation. Taking the time to give educated opinions could benefit many soon-to-be homeowners. I try to follow trends nationally and also try to keep up with many of the larger demographic areas but I know there are many areas that don't follow the national curve. I wrote an article last week that covers my position. It's a bit long so I'll only post the first paragraph. Basically, it's a forecast covering the next few quarters. It addresses the national market a bit broadly and California a bit more specifically.

"Trying to time the real estate market and make healthy and lucrative decisions is not that difficult but requires some education and good judgment. This article explains why we are currently nearing one of the most remarkable opportunities to which many buyers, whether investors or people seeking a primary residence, have been exposed. I explain in plain English how we arrived at the current real estate market, where we will be for the next several months, and when to answer the door when opportunity knocks."

This is a direct link to the article so you don't have to surf through my website looking for it.
