Mortgages while in bankruptsy

we are trying to refinance our house but have been denied due to the current mortgage company not cashing our checks we are sending to them. the money is in the bank but since they won't cash our checks they keep sending things to the credit bureaus stating that we are several months behind, in which keeps bringing our credit scores down. since we have waited so long no one will help us since it looks like we have not made a payment since april. we were advised in sending the checks to our attorney and they still will not accept the checks. we are at a lose and not sure what to do and don't want to lose our home. any suggestions????
Hi madmomma,

In my opinion, you should contact your lender and check out as to why they are not cashing the checks. This will help you understand the problem and you will be able to take the required steps. If the lender cashes in the checks, then your mortgage will become current and thus you would be able to refinance your mortgage.

Hi madmomma,

Yap, contact to current mortgage company or meet personally and ask him why you not cashing our checks. If have any problem or any requirement just try to solve this issue. One more think that you don't lose your house, because of you can inform that, we are sending the checks to our attorney and they still will not accept the checks.

Good luck........
