I have a mortgage with countrywide who has bee trying to foreclose on me for the last year. We have filed in chapter 13 but we are going back and forth to court. Countrywide is not reporting anything on the credit report thereby preventing us from securing a refi. Is there anyone who can help us get away from them? Home is valued at 220K and we owe 116K. Please help with information. My credit score is 489 but would be higher if they were reporting.
Your only option will be a private money lender. The cost will be high but you will be out from underneath the evil empire known as countrywide.
In a year with some credit repair you should be able to refi again into a better loan.
Good luck
