hello everyone, i am vet of 21 years and i am trying to find someone (bank) to refinance me. every lender that i talk with says they cant refinance due to i dont own the land. i live in a family park and everybody rents the land. do anyone knows a lender that would refinance me without owning the land. thanks

I actually received your phone call today, and unfortunetly I do not know of anyone who will refi a manufactured home if you don't own the property. I would check out HUD's website. I believe they have a list of lenders who do do this. Or if all else fails, ask your neighbors who they went with.

As far as I know, if your mobile home is situated on a rented land, it would be difficult for you to refinance the loan. However, you can look out for personal property loans. You can get these loans from retailers who sell mobile homes. However, personal property loans are available at a higher rate of interest.
