Will it be a good idea to sell a home soon after refinance? Or will it be better to wait for a certain period of time?
It will not be a good idea to sell a home after refinance. While you refinance, you will have to pay the closing costs which you may not be able to offset unless you stay in the property for 2-3 years.

I agree with what Niicss has said. If you wish to sell off the property soon, then it doesn't make much sense to refinance the mortgage.
