we have a second mortgage that is behind, we are in bankruptcy, but still behind with the payments can the second mortgage foreclose on our home

If you have already declared bankruptcy and included the property in the bankruptcy, then the lender will not be able to foreclose. But if you haven't declared bankruptcy and if you are few months late on your payments, then the lender will have the right to foreclose the property.
