So I just got served a notice regarding a foreclosure on a property that I had to walk from back in 2008. Now they are suing me for the 2nd mortgage for the amount of 31k. Do I have any options?

the second mortgage lender has the rights to come after you in order to collect the deficient balance from you. in such a situation, you should check out the sol period for such debts in your state. if the sol period is not over, then the lender can come after you and may even take legal actions in order to collect the dues.
