I went through the entire loan process to come and find out underwriting would not approve my loan because of the acreage. Any idea where I can get a mortgage for a modular home on 25 acres?

I haven't heard of any such rule. I would suggest you to speak to some other lenders of your area and get their opinion in this matter. This community has a large number of lenders as well. You can speak to the lenders of this community and seek a no obligation free mortgage quote. This will help you know whether or not you'll get a mortgage and what type of rates and terms you may qualify for.
