We just finished our 1st loan modification this month and we had a 2nd loan as well. We were told by Chase not to do anything with the 2nd until the first was finished. I just contacted Chase and they are saying our 2nd loan is being charged off and being sold to a collection agency. I was wondering what to do from here. Can they take our home for non payment?

you need to contact the collection agency and negotiate with them in order to get a payment plan to pay off the dues. or else, you can ask chase to withdraw the account from collections and negotiate with them to get a payment plan in order to get rid of the second mortgage dues.
