I live in TX and both of my parents are deceased. They had 2 properties 1 is in the Estate of my father's name and one is in my moms name. I have one sibling and my mom wanted him to have the property in that was in her name and me to have the other one. Do we need to file a separate affidavit of heirship per property? Also, is there going to be an issue with the property that is in The Estate of my dad? What documentation will I need?
Hi Guest!

Welcome to the forums!

You can get in touch with an attorney and he will let you know whether or not you and your brother will have to file 2 separate affidavit of heirship.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Welcome Guest,

Yes, it will be a good option to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He will be able to let you know the best option in this matter.
