Need to lower my Payments.

I did the exact thing with Homeq. But as soon as they heard about my monthly expenses, he proceeded to tell me how to budget my money. Give up my cable subcription and have my husband babysit my child. I wonder if anybody in the forum actually tried hiring a professional to do the process of requesting for loan modification. how much does it usually cost?

banks are too greedy, which causes so many foreclosures nowadays and a lot of pain to family. They should be responsible for the bubble they created and learn the blood lesson from this crisis!!

banks offer a product which people choose to either accept or not. you can call them greedy, and perhaps they are, but just remember, they are only offering you a service - it's up to you whether you take it or not.
