Does the date on the deed matter?

Does the date on the deed matter?

I am closing on a condo in NYC later this month (January 2016) but the seller's attorney is dating the deed mid-December 2015, he says the date on the deed doesn't matter. Is this true? Is this something I should be concerned about?

There shouldn't be any concern. Still, go through the loan papers carefully before signing and consult an attorney if you want.
