Do I have to pay the home buyer credit if I live in the home for atleast 36 months?

If you have purchased the home in 2009,2010 or 2011, you generally do not have to repay the credit if you are using the home as your main home. But if your home ceases to be the main residence within 36 months from purchase, you have to repay the due credit totally. If you have stayed there more than 36 months, I think it will make no difference & you will not have to pay anything.
