I recently have begun employment with a mortgage company. I need to find out all I can about the workings of the mortgage office so I can move to a better position like processor, loan officer, underwriter, closer. Where can I access this information online? I am a receptionist and need to learn the lingo for the mortgage business.

Hi Tricia,

That's wonderful news. I am glad to see your ambition. I am also new to this industry and came in this field just a few months back.

But now I have at learnt a lot from different sites online especially MortgageFit. The best thing here is that I could clear up my doubts in the forum of this site whenever I had some doubts.

Now I am able to give at least some advice to the people who visit here with mortgage and real estate related problems. Samantha has already mentioned some pages where you will find the basics and you can go through different articles of this site and other sites to improve your knowledge.

Hope to see you regularly in this forum. :)
