anyone heard of northumbria mortgages?reason being as i think i have been had over by a nigel mcclements who says he works for them,they are FSA regulated but his personal search comes up as in-active and has taken £250 from me.I have called the fsa and they can confirm there are more cases from the same company,any help please

He owes me £400. I have found out he has gone insolvent. I shall be phoning the fcso (financial services compensation). I shall wait to hear reply from his wife whi I have just talked to. She said that she will try to sort things out. :?

I have been trying to e-mail this new e-mail he has posted but as usual get no joy he has owed me £425 since the begining of april have had smooth transactions over the past 4 years and have now been dun over he has promised me my money back on a number of occasions even saying he has been to the bank to do so but this has all been lies!! what a conman, has anybody had there money back?

I'm yet another victim. He did our mortgage 6 years ago and was great so having got wind of this website we gave him the benefit of the doubt as he told us the mortgage offer was about to issue at the end of last week. However I've heard nothing from him since last Friday and on telephoning the supposed mortgage company direct they have no knowledge of us. He has obviously pocketed the £325 valuation fee we paid him!
This mortgage deal was supposed to help us hang on to our home - am devastated!!

We are still waiting on our money. This guy is a crook and should not be trusted. May sure you all report it to the Carlisle police and the fsa.

I have sent a number of e-mails to this new e-mail he posted on here and have heard nothing i think he is a complete con man and there is obviously a lot of us he owes money too! i can not believe this has happend i hope he gets charge as he has stolen all this money off us he deserves to go to prison.

Nigel got me out of a huge hole 3 years ago and for that i will be forever grateful and i am hoping that my £599 that i paid to him 2 weeks ago will be refunded as he has pledged here as I would be very dissapointed if for whatever reason he has turned into a con man.
I would be very interested to hear from anyone that does get the promised refund.

Has anyone got their money from Nigel McClement AKA Northumbria Mortgages?
Yes he has turned into a con man by all accounts on here and my personal dealings with him. He took 500 of me a couple of months ago on the promise of a commercial mortgage when he knew I had a bringing loan on it which needed to be paid back today the 9th of June, 2010 I am self-employed and now in danger of losing my business premises and my business which I depend on to pay my house bills. This man knew all of this yet he just kept promising the earth and nothing has come out of it. He has not returned my money and ignores my phone calls and texts, cant believe he is the same man who arranged my house mortgage three years ago. I am not sure how to proceed now due to my situation being commercial funding he promised. I have his address if anyone needs it but we should all go mob handed and see what this man has to say. It appears from other posts that it looks like he has been funding his own bills with our money and now has no intention of paying us back, he said he was borrowing money from a friend to pay me back but that was the last excuse of a long line that like the others came to nothing.
Myself having got my money back am happy,but as said i fill for all of you,the best way is to go mob handed and se what he has to say.

Has anyone heard from Nigel the con man since he posted this new e-mail i have sent e-mails to it with no reply and now the telephone numbers i had for him are not recongnised!!!not that he answered them anyway! i really can not believe he has done this i trusted him i think we all did and he has taken all our money. please everyone keep posting on here so we can all know what is going on and help each other.
