I have a first with ABC Bank and 4 Equity Lines with ABC Bank. If I can get current on the first can/will they foreclose on the equity lines???
hi dave,
if you default on the equity lines, the lender will have the right to foreclose on the property. though you are current on your first mortgage, your second mortgage will still remain due with the lender.
however, if you are facing problems in paying the mortgage dues, you should contact the lender and check out the various ways to avoid foreclosure.
thanks
