Transferring property: Statewise sample quitclaim deed forms

Posted on: 26th Mar, 2007 05:09 am
Hi all,

While participating in this community forums, I have often found people looking for online forms especially those related to quit claim deed.

The forms on quit claim deed are different in each state as they are in accordance with the state laws. I have tried to collect a number of quit claim deed forms which are available in the government websites of the respective states or counties.
If any of you find out quit claim forms used in some other states, feel free to add it below.

Thanks.

Hi martha,

You'll have to ask your husband to sign a quitclaim deed and include your name in the property deed. He can take the help of the sample quitclaim deed forms available online or can also contact an attorney and let him draft the quitclaim deed. Once the deed is filled out, it needs to be notarized and recorded.

Thanks

Hi Beverly,

As far as I know, free quitclaim deed forms for Arkansas are not available online. You should contact a real estate attorney and get the quitclaim deed drafted from him.

Thanks

Good Evening,
California always seems to have different rules because their hand is always out for fee's and fines. Is there anything special I should know about. Thanks you. Blessings

Hey Phil,

It's true that the laws of California are quite different from one another. As far as a quitclaim deed is concerned, the grantor needs to sign the quitclaim deed and then notarize and record the deed. The stamp doc fees, the recording fees etc are more or less the same.
