My fiancee and i want to purch

My fiancee and i want to purchase a home together. Right now he lives in an apartment. I have a house in my name that I'm putting up for sale. If we purchase a home and put it in his name will I have 50% ownership in this home if he quitclaims 50% interest over to me? Is the home 50% his and 50% mine equal in the eyes of the law? Will he have any more influence over the home (in selling or in ownership of it or in any way) because the mortgage will be in his name? Thanks for your time and help.

Hi Guest, If your fiancee quitclaims 50% interest in the property to you, then you will be considered as one of the owners of the property. He won't have any special influence over the home while selling it. He will have to take your permission and signatures when he decides to sell off the property as you will be one of the owners of the property. Thanks
