My sister ownes an undivided o

My sister ownes an undivided one half interest in real property and her husbands brother ownes the other half. She inharited her intrest from her husband. She would like to sell her interest in the property but her brother-in-law refuses to coporate with her. She located out of the state where the property is located making it difficult to persue legal action she can afford. Can she quickclaim the property to me? Being a principal I can then ask the court to partition the property.

Welcome Guest, Your sister can transfer the property to you by signing a quitclaim deed. There won't be any problem in that. Then you can take actions in order to sell off the property.
