Concurrent Escrow

Concurrent Escrow

Hi,
I am on a concurrent escrow for a house in California. Agreement is seller buys another house and closes the escrow of the current house.

Now, as the real estate market picked up all of a sudden, he is not buying house and I am in escrow for the last four months.

Questions:
1. Will there be an expiration date for escrow?

2. Is it legal for seller to cancel escrow?

3. is it legal for seller to delay the escrow?

Please advise.

Thanks!

If there is an agreement between you and the seller, then read through it to find out what are the clauses and terms of the agreement. There may be an expiration date of the escrow mentioned in the docs.
