I would really like to know the status of my section 8 application. I applied a few years ago. I have a prospect number. But I dont know where to go to check it.I went on hacla.org. But i dont see a link to check status. I also would like to just update my information because I now have a 1yr old.

ana, please correspond with the municipality to whom you applied for section 8. their housing agency can help you.
how do i retrieve my section 8 number
stanley, where did you apply for section 8? have you attempted to contact that housing department? that's where you begin your search.
It's been years I'am sure a voucher is waitng for me
one way to find out, allen - call the locale where you originally applied and ask them to research it for you.

i'm sorry - please answer this for me: does "mortgagefit.com" look like "torrance" when you see it pop up on your computer? if my recall of locations, etc. serves me right, "torrance" is in california, and the housing department is more than likely listed in the local phone book. actually, i just did a quick google search and found that there is a phone number listed for torrance, ca housing. it is 310-618-2747.
