Geneva Roth Capital Inc. which is also known as Loan Point USA ("http://www.loanpointusa.com/" ) is a payday loan company that carries out its own collections. Based at Utah, the company is reported to be a loan shark by several consumers who have shared their experience with the company in our forums.

There have been several complaints so far from customers regarding illegal activities of Geneva Roth. Here's why debtors feel that Geneva Roth is a loan shark:
  • The company often over charges its customers and withdraws money from their accounts repeatedly even after the loan payment is over.
  • The company also keeps changing its contact information due to which customers make repeated calls but fail to get any response from Geneva Roth.
  • Geneva Roth somehow gets access to bank accounts not related to the loan and debits money from such accounts.
  • Even if consumers do not apply for Geneva Roth loans, the company somehow gets access to their accounts and forcefully deposit loan funds without even sending any paper agreement to the debtor.
If you are in problem while dealing with the company or if you need to make an enquiry on your payment, loan balance etc, talk to a customer representative at the Geneva Roth toll free number.

In case you don't get any response from the company, or if they continue with their illegal activities, file a complaint with the FTC, BBB or your State attorney General. And if you'd like to share your experience with Geneva Roth - good or bad, feel free to post it below.

Welcome Janet mason,

A lot of people have complaints against Geneva Roth. It's quite surprising to me as to why they keep on debiting money from people's account when they are not supposed to. But you did a good thing by complaining against them at the state attorney general's office.

I DONT EVEN HAVE A LOAN W/GR-ARE THEY LINKED TO LOANPOINT? WHY ARE THEY BOTH GETTING PAYMENT FOR A LOAN?

Hi anonymous

As far as I know, both the companies are linked. If you feel that money from your account is being illegally debited, follow the advice given by Adonis. Report to the State Attorney General and also block your account from which they are debiting money.

Thanks.

Hi wendy!

Welcome to forums!

Are you speaking of a payday loan company which is trying to debit money from your account? Well, this is a mortgage community and not a payday loan company. You will have to contact the payday loan company and ask them to stop debiting money from your account. By the way, may I know the name of the company from whom you have taken the pay day loan?

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

1. When you apply for small loans online your application goes to several vendors. This is always stated in the initial website that you apply on. You are never actually applying with just one loan vendor. All of your information goes to all of the vendors.

2. If you had a previous unpaid loan and you apply for a new one, according to the contract you give all vendors permission to debit your account.

3. Once you type in your name and the security code into the spaces provided you are thereby accepting the terms of the loan and are verifying the fact that you do in fact want the loan. You don't actually have to speak to anybody. As long as the information provided is verified to be true and accurate, the loan is usually processed.

4. Try going to "https://customer.loanpointusa.com"

Are you speaking about Geneva Roth? Well, as far as I know, they are known as "Geneva Roth" and I don't think they operate by any other name.

Thanks.

Genva roth , loanpoint USA , national loans ….mostly all of the Web site that offer loans Are owed my Genva roth
They took 400 out of my account said I had a unpaid loan from july 2007 which I paid but ,they say I still owe a balance . I had to close my account and the reason they got my info is because I feel on hard times an applied for a loan by another company National Loans and They took the 400 out of a new account with another bank and when I asked them How did you access my new account the lady I spoke to a Genva advised me that the contract I signed read that if the account in which you provided closes and you do not pay ,then you auth us to access any account by information provided by you or an outside credit reporting company .

I live in ILL and there was a large law suit on another loan company that was suited over $2mill for over charging , I guess for the state of ILL loan companies can only charge you $15.00 per every $100.00 you borrow , and I was looking at this contract and it read $30.00 for every $100.00 , thats breaking the law in my state and most of the other states have a law about this also and I dont even now if this company is licnsed to work in ILL

These people found my information on line for a different bank account I have and attempted to debit my account for $400.00. I told them they were claimed in a bankruptcy. The agent tried to discipline me on how to handle my business. I contacted my bank and there is a lock prohibiting them from my account. I have also changed my account number.

This company just tried to steal $400.00 out of my checking account and I have never had a loan with them before. My husband did prior to us getting married, and they managed to find our joint checking account and started trying to collect his debt by withdrawing funds from our account without our knowledge or authorization.

Welcome kb,

You can try blocking the bank account from which they are withdrawing the money and complain about them at the state attorney general's office.
